It has been shown in the present paper that exploitation of experimental potential a photoacoustic technique can provide information on type intermolecular interactions aqueous mixtures containing organic liquids, when basic parameters these mixtures, such as density, ρ, specific heat, cp, or thermal conductivity, λ, are unknown. Earlier investigations concentration dependence effusivity different solutions liquids demonstrated photoacoustics method is sensitive tool to identify hydrophobic properties liquids. In our experiment this suggestion was exploited for solution methanol which known display much weaker hydrophobicity than other alcohols.
